Krishnendu Mukherjee is a barrister (England & Wales) and advocate (High Court of Bombay) based at Doughty Street Chambers in London. He has been working in the field of immigration law since 1995, first as a volunteer at Asylum Aid, a refugee charity and then as a practising barrister.He has appeared on all levels of the immigration appellate structure in immigration cases, including the seminal case of R(Razgar) v SSHD [2004] UKHL 27, [2004] All ER (D) 169. In 2007, he started practising in India as an advocate and began advising foreign nationals on Indian immigration law, including NGOs, who wished to bring foreign nationals to volunteer in India.He has also written expert reports on Indian immigration law for UK courts. He is happy to advise on all aspects of Indian immigration law and practice.
